The Student Union has several teams of student employees that help us keep The Heart of Campus “beating.” Below you will find the descriptions for our three entry level positions for student employees. Applications interviews, and hiring are done as needed, several times a year.

Event Planning Assistant
The Event Planning Assistants serve as the first impression of the Event Services office in the Student Union. They introduce the facility's services and guide departments, agencies, student organizations, and public clients through the planning process to host an event at the Student Union. The Event Services office is open Monday-Friday between 8AM and 5PM. Applicants should have a willingness to provide superior customer service, be detail oriented, and have the ability to work in a high-traffic environment.
Event Services Associate
The Event Services Associate is a key support staff member that provides setup and maintenance or furnishing and A/V equipment for all Student Union events. The crew members work directly with our Building Managers and clients to ensure top quality event setup throughout the Student Union.
Guest Services Associate
The Guest Services Associate is a key customer liaison on the Student Union staff. This position supports the Guest Services Department at numerous Student Union locations including the Computer Lab and both All Knight Study locations. Students applying for this position should be open to working overnight shifts.
